Over the last 15 years, a variety of approaches to pedagogy have discovered well-evidenced ways to teach that raise achievement whilst at the same time gradually building up students’ ability to plan, trouble-shoot and evaluate their learning for themselves, whilst enhancing their appetite to do so. This keynote will outline the general approach to building learning power, and suggest how it works well with boys.
